Homeless person and paramedic amongst new cases of COVID-19

The first case of COVID-19 has been reported. The city says this was expected. There is not enough housing and shelter with adequate social distancing. What will the city do? And the sick paramedic may reduce the confidence of essential workers.

City officials have previously said they expect the pandemic to hit Toronto’s homeless population. The city announced earlier this week that it was taking several steps to try and manage a potential outbreak among the homeless population.
