Join the TIFF Community Initiatives team for Make Well; a series of free drop-in film workshops for folks over the age of 18 who self-identify as living with mental-health issues. Explore the many facets of film as a medium for creative expression, skills development, and connection with your peers in a safe and supportive environment. Email outreach@tiff.net to sign up! Goals

To Learn about the art of film through fun, low-barrier activities facilitated by artists working in film & media.
To Develop your creativity and skills related to communication, teamwork, emotional self-awareness, and problem solving and
to connect with peers with lived experience.

May 18 | Sense-ational Storytelling: Descriptive Writing for the Screen co-presented by InkWell Workshops
June 15 | Production Design: Finding Your Story’s Style
July 6 | Sound Collage: Exploring Mood through Everyday Sounds
August 10 | Frame-by-Frame: Experimenting with Animation

Location: TIFF Bell Lightbox (Third Floor, Learning Studio A)
Time: workshop from 1-3pm, space to socialize from 3-4pm
Cost: FREE
No prior film experience necessary. Snacks provided.
